Your initial session at Bold Psychology is an opportunity for your therapist to develop a clear picture of your background, your current concerns and your future goals. Together you will develop a treatment plan which is best suited to your individual circumstances.
Treatment may include cognitive behaviour therapy, specific skill development, emotional regulation skills and mindfulness training. Individual, group and home/school based treatments are available.

Counselling Sessions
Professional Counselling is a safe and confidential collaboration between the qualified counsellor and yourself. Mental health and well-being is promoted, self-understanding is enhanced and identified concerns are resolved. You will remain an active participant in the counselling process at any stage and when working with children, parents will play an important part in the progression. Counselling is used to combat a broad range of issues and challenges, which can provide an opportunity to reassess or set new goals in life, gaining clarity and direction. Evidence-based tools and techniques will be used to support throughout your session.
During a session with our Psychologist, you can expect a safe and confidential space to express your thoughts and feelings. We may explore various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness and emotional regulation strategies to assist you in overcoming challenges. You will work with your Psychologist through an assessment and treatment planning process to target your identified goals.
